2) get a job, MUST get a job --- I'll be working at Reckitt Benckiser Canada :D
3) golf well, possibly better than my brother --- One golf lesson so far but far from being better than my brother.
4) taste of danforth/summerlicious <- i love food. --- I did Summerlicious but no Taste of Danforth :'( I was studying during that weekend. Boohoo.
5) get a fob, i mean job :D --- Got the job but not a fob!
6) run around, wild and free --- Haven't ran around in the literal sense but I still can do that in the remaining weeks of summer.

Here are some pictures of last Friday's fellowship night. The night was filled with much laughter and fun. We had a cooking competition and you-know-who is pretty challenged in the kitchen, so check out the pictures! Good times, good times ;)

Random courses again?

It looks like I'm taking another course on the Italian Renaissance. Why? I needed a 300-level course and at the same time, it's kinda interesting! Sometimes I wonder why the 'random' courses I take are the most memorable. Even my philosphy class from last term was enjoyable. Yes, in case you're wondering, I'm still in the CS/Math/Stats program. However, I remember taking such courses as German, Italian, German Cinema, Industrial Relations, Political Science, and the oddest one was probably Forensic Science. In a way, these courses have revealed things I never knew about myself. For instance, I found a love for languages and culture. I also realized that I'm not CSI material. Sorry CSI, I've failed you. These random courses do expand the mind. It furthers your capabilities and expose weaknesses as well. So, I'm glad I have the opportunity to explore and experience all kinds of disciplines.

I am g33k. :P

Have No Fear

While I was going through stacks of old grade school work, I came across a story that I wrote a very long time ago. I totally forgot about writing this. It's weird what you can learn from your old self. I'd like to share it with you:

The man walks towards his death. "I'm not afraid", he says. He comes upon dark shadows of doom. The evil, dark creature is waiting to take his life. As the man gets closer, he finally realizes what life really means. He speaks confidently to his doom and says, "It is when I'm going to leave, that I realize the true meaning of life. I only live one life, with one chance, and I should treasure my life. I DO NOT FEAR YOU, BUT I WILL FIGHT!".

The man was fighting a creature and this creature was a disease. "Have no fear", many say. Bravery comes from your heart.

Grandma's 91st Birthday :D

Last Friday, we celebrated Ah-Ma's (Grandma) 91st birthday at Ruby Chinese Restaurant. Ah-Ma was dressed in a very beautiful velvet Chinese dress. She looked sooo pretty :) She told me that last time she wore it was 20 years ago! Check out the pictures....

So I've decided to blog...

Let's just say I'm still refusing the Facebook craze but I'm curious about the world of blogging. To tell you the truth, I'm not too good with being committed to these things but I'll try to post frequently :) I guess we'll have to see how that goes...

On an entirely random note, I really want a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. You don't know what they are? Look at the picture! When I get one, well, "if" I get one, I'll call it 'Ein'.
